Please explain. I know its the breech area. What you do to clean it up, which guns need it, etc. Still in learning mode here. Any and all posts welcome.

barrels with flush sealing breachs with air driving pellet coming from behind ... pellet directly in rifling seated flush.
barrels with probes deep seating pellets past a transfer port, generally a lead / throat is provided for probe clearance up to the transfer port.

Really a case by case thing pending AG design at hand.
