Curious, anybody using a Rex scope, I googled them and can't find a thing. They are advertised on Flying Dragons.

Well I'm more interested in the company that manufactures Rex scopes. Where are they made etc etc etc

From Rex's home page "We have a financial interest in our offshore manufacturing facilities " usually means China.

I also found an address in Delhi, another in Singapore. Products & Services: Optical Glass Manufacturer Rex Optical Company http://www.asklaila.com/listing/Delhi-NCR/Naraina+Industrial+Area/Rex+Optical+Company/1Lp3FhBG/ http://search.insing.com/business/rex-optical-co/jalan-besar-lavender/id-2fef0000

Call a retailer and ask them to look @ one and tell you what country is stamped on the model of interest?

Seems to be some buzz about 'em being Barska  rebadged http://www.opticstalk.com/rex-optics_topic10681.html (http://www.opticstalk.com/rex-optics_topic10681.html)

Which model is of interest, I'd like to compare photo's of Rex with Barska?

Most companies proudly advertise country of manufacturer, unless it's China, then it's printed tiny, almost unlegible.

I have two Rex scopes from Mike Melick, both have survived magnum springers. The glass is clear and the adjustments are accurate. Mike stands behind what he sells.

Thanks,

I received my MM fully tuned XS-B26 yesterday and the scope seems fine, pretty clear, and that's from a long time owner of many Leupold Scopes.
The front flip up pretty much falls off though. Must be a Rex factory one-size-fits-all unit. I really want flip-ups.

I have the REX 3x9x40- AO if anyone is reading that has info on a better set.

Check out this post here on GTA: http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=47930.0 (http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?topic=47930.0) about Rex scopes. My experience has been the same with two 4X32 mounted on magnum springers.
