I am setting up a field target practice range in the back yard. I have 153 clear feet. I marked it off with paint every ten feet and then put flags up every five feet.
I will get knock down targets later. For now I just move my target back and forth. The Gamo bone collector stuffed with 00 steel wool is silent and perfect for early morning shooting.
I have a nice little blind that is going to get better as time goes on.
The range is slightly up hill at about three feet rise over 100 feet. Is there anything else I can do tk practice field target shooting?

This is my home range, 40yard max.

Here is my humble setup. I use 1' x 3' high strength steel blanks painted with white primer and walmart yardsale stickers on them. When all shot up I turn them over to the other side and continue. When that side it done, I scrape the stickers (whats left of them) and repaint. I have about 35 of them so it's plenty of shooting before repainting.

Here is a site with field target plans using plywood for the target, large washers to harden the killzone, and various bits and pieces for the trigger mechanism.

For my back yard practice lane the targets stay put and I move my shooting position. When on the FT course you need to move from lane to lane so this works well. My 53 yard shooting lane.
The entrance........

A "shootin' buddy" perched on the log back stop seemed entertained during a whole shooting session........

The only thing I could add is take your markers down, if practicing for field target. I set my targets, like Ed, and move back and forth. If they are not marked it is good practice for field target.

For some cheap to make, self-resetting targets, you might find this thread interesting.
