I did alot of asking around here the past few weeks about how to fit a Benjamin Trail synthetic stock onto my Storm XT.
Well I ordered a stock and it should be here today.
I plan on taking a good many pics and posting on how to get the Storm action into the Trail stock.
So if you were ever curious as to what was involved in that mod, stay tuned.
Thanks

It should bolt right on with no mods I have traded these stocks around for awhile now, they all interchange the summit and quest and titan and benjamine trails and even the phantom stocks all will fit but the xl series or the npss will not work. Thanks David

ray1377: how much was the Benjamin Trail synthetic stock shipped?
-
I ordered more stuff with it, but the stock only cost $28.90 and shipping was $4.
Thanks

Oh, I forgot to say, the trail stock is "WAY" heavier than the factory wooden storm stock!!!!
Thanks

I got the Storm XT action mounted in the Trail Synthetic stock this afternoon.
It "fit" fine, and the only problem I came across was that the Trail stock is thicker on the front sides where the two front bolts go. This made the stock bolts too short to work properly.

I ended up getting some more bolts that were about 4 or 5 mm longer than the stock ones and it worked perfect.

I love the LOP and the pistol grip is an added bonus, but man this thing is a chunk of lead compared to the factory wooden Storm stock.

And I'm not sure that all the Trail Synthetic stocks are that thick at the front end or if it was just the one I ended up with.
Hope this helps others who may have been thinking about doing the same thing.
Thanks

I've swapped my Titan and G1 stocks a couple times. I like the synthetic G1 for hunting. After refinishing my Titan stock I don't have the heart to take it banging through the bush.
-
You may have killed the idea for me. I didn't want to add the extra weight to a Titan, and I prefer the thumbhole stocks. I may try to come up with some creative finish for the Titan stock. I guess that's why the Trail with the all weather stock weighs as much as the NPXL.

Scooter if your going for the black look try bed liner it gives a good look and great grip.just a thought.
-
Yep, Rustoleum spray on bed liner works great if you put it on in light coats and layer it up to get the desired finish.
Thanks

I think I'll give it a shot...Thanks Ray and BigA. If I don't like it, I think I may have an extra phantom stock laying around pretty soon 8)
