Title: 4500 pis regulator in 3K bottle

I just got a good deal on a 17CI 3K bottle and it came without a regulator. IF I change the 7.5K burst disk to 5K on a 4500 Regulator can I use this without problem? I will be filling under 3K. I can get a good deal on a 4500 Pure Energy regulator, but haven't been able to find a 3K deal yet.

Providing both are 5/8-18NF threads, and providing you put a 5K burst disc in the high-pressure side of the regulator you should be good to go.... Does the Pure Energy regulator have two burst discs, one for the output side?....
