When I was a kid I loved my air guns, probably put thousands of rounds through each of them. But as I got older they began to collect dust in the closet when I became of age to own firearms. However I recently decided to buy a Benjamin discovery .177 in place of a new 22lr. I think it was a great decision, I have already put over 1000 rounds through the discovery and have been loving it.
I was having some trouble with accuracy at 50 yards getting 2" 20 shot groups but I was able to fix it up a little bit by removing the screws from the 2 screw trigger mod. I had read somewhere that it could be causing sear drag and messing with velocity, after resetting to factory trigger the group shrunk to a little over 1" at 50 yards for 20 shots. Is that respectable or should the discovery be capable of better? I'm shooting corpsman premier 10.5 grain domes with a 3-9x scope. I have tested about 5 other pellets and they seem to shoot best.

That's not bad at 50 yards. Have you tried JSB pellets? I'd suggest you give the 8.44 grain pellets a look. They tend to shoot well out of most every gun.
