I've been using my new Hill pump (the one with the air drier) and it appears to work fine pumping my new AA S510 from ~1500 psi up to 2900 psi.
My question is on assembly. The pump didn't come with any manual or assembly instructions except for the cute pictographs printed on the back of the box. The sequence of assembly drawings didn't depict the hard red plastic washer included with the pump (I.D. ~14 mm).
I'm guessing it might go on the fitting between the air drier and the intake collar but it's not depicted in the assembly drawings.
Anyone know?

Pictorials are not very clear on assembly. I used the red washer here.

Thanks Larry, that confirmed my suspicions, I wonder why they sell a $300 product with incomplete assembly instructions.
It is similar to the way Crossman is too cheap to include the pellet weight on the tin. Once you throw away the cardboard and plastic packaging, it's up to your memory as to how heavy they are.
And thanks for the quick reply.

Yeah just a hard gasket. Hill encourages you to rebuild your pump when it fails, it was nice of them to not include any instructions on how to do so.

Well, I'm sure I'll be able to figure it out when the time comes but I don't think any reputable company 20 years ago would not have provided basic instructions for use of their products.

Thanks for that!
