Title: HW77 with muzzle weight?
Post by: ptpalpha on July 22, 2014, 10:45:26 AM
Wondering if anyone's installed a HW97-style muzzle weight on a 77?
I've seen a few pics from the UK guys showing HW77's with sound reducing device attached, but I'm looking for a way to do it so the end of the barrel/weight is even with the lever end.
Thanks,
Paul

I got this muzzle put on through Mac-1 in the late 80's, however I don't know if they sell them anymore. (Probably not, and it isn't precisely what you are asking for...the lever snaps into a spring loaded ball at the rear end of the cylinder below the 'brake'/weight)
But they might a good place to start.

That's exactly what I'm talking about, minus the venting ports.
Thanks, Will.
Beautiful 77, by the way.  Is that the Beeman version?

You can try the V-Mach "RACE Muzzle Brake" that is readily available from the homonymous company based in UK:

No, that's actually the Marksman 61K which is really the HW-77 they just stamped their name on it.

Now you've really got my mind whirling.  One of those would be a great match for my Marksman 56FTS/HW98.
OK...that's a start!!
First, what to sell.
Next, find the 61k.
