I finally figured out how to put different guns in Chairgun but have encountered an issue. When switching from one gun to another, all the info changes to that gun except the maximum yardage. Example, my Marauder has a max of 55 yards and my 1720T has a max of 30 yards. If I go from the Marauder to the 1720T, max yardage changes to 55 yards on the 1720T. If I change the 1720T to 30 yards and go back to the Marauder, the max changes to 30 yards on the Marauder. Any idea what I'm doing wrong. Thanks, Don

The best, most recommended and most quoted pellet ballistics calculator freeware and I don't have any Idea how to help.
I will suggest calling Hawke customer Service or shoot them an eMail. http://www.hawkeoptics.com/chairgun.html 877-429-5347

You can ONLY default one set of data at a time best i have figured out :P

Which version of Chairgun are you using, Version 3 or Version 4?
How many guns are you calculating?
Since there are 4 tabs, for 4 different calibers, you can relabel and recalibrate the unused tabs.
I don't use the .177, 0.20 or 0.25 tabs so I repurpose them to what I do have.
I only have four 0.22 cal rifles, so I set up a separate tab for each gun.
I also don't need the pellet database entries for the unused calibers so I delete them from the pellet database also.
It can all be done on the configuration settings.
Just remember to save the new setup before exiting the program.
You can save it with a new name instead of the default.cfg name.
If you overwrite the default.cfg file, the saved settings will open when you start ChairGun.
If you screw it up too much, just uninstall the program and reinstall it.
I don't know your level of computer expertise, but this shouldn't be beyond any users capabilities.
I'm using Version 3 running under Wine (an emulation program) in Mint Linux.
p.s. I don't do MS Windows.

When you elect to default one setup to the others in Chairgun all data is copied over to the other three tabs. After that you can change the data in each tab and it will remain unique to that tab.
When you are comparing: On the graph right click select "Compare Trajectory Mode"=> Then select "As per input values".
