It shoots quite awesome and is pretty quiet. And.........................NO TWANG! :)
-
airgun andy, where did you buy that stock? I love it, and want one for my 2240
-
Jman, I bought it at Home Depot! ;D
Well, the plywood to make it I bought there. It's three layers of 1/2" plywood. The adjustable comb is made from a piece of 1-1/2" PVC Pipe covered in black craft foam.
-
dang, thats really nice!

Nice guns........ ;)

A little off brand subject, those are some nice customs I have a daisy 880 pump broke of buttstock while moving looking for ideas . My main shooter BTNP 22!
-
it had the reciever machined to accept a s&w rear sight.
-
it had the reciever machined to accept a s&w rear sight.
I really like that rear sight. It's much nicer than the factory one on my HB22!

Storm xt

but the front sight is so thin it leaves alot of room for errors so i put a bushnell trophy red dot on it.
I really like that rear sight. It's much nicer than the factory one on my HB22!
-
Anybody put open sights on bt np 22 or know of kits . Open to ideas first one I've ever owned kinda miss open sights for up close plinking and shooting snakes wich i usually take real close range don't always need big scope
-
Not sure about aftermarket sights. There are peep sights that mount on the scope grooves but can't think of any easy way to do a front sight. Might check with Williams or some other sight maker. Maybe something held on with a screw like a front sight for a Marlin 60 could be used?
Alternately, you could mount a simple red dot sight and sight it in at close range.
-
Thank for ideas !! Any info on a good red dot, never bought one just scopes I need to convert all my scopes to quick release to put the red dot on faster. Dove season just started here in Texas time for some urban sniping I like my 1377crosman with shoulder stock and steel receiver with a vintage Lyman Alaskan ww2 sniper scope I'll try to get some pics posted. The only thing I'm finding out some ammo for 177 can have alot of flyers dead on for 4 or 5 shots then the flyer comes out anybody know an ammo brand that's more consistant
-
Remember, it is a fine line between a hobby and mental illness !!

Brutuz,
You will enjoy that 400, they are fun and accurate guns. Yours' has the adjustable trigger pack which makes it that much sweeter! It's a good lookin' vintage shooter too!
-
My favorite 2240. A list of mods from here to the moon. Deadly accurate out to 25yds sends 14.3's downrange at over 625 fps. for 20-25 shots. This is my baby

My benjamin trail NP - this was my first Air rifle purchase since the age of 12. I love this gun. with charlies trigger, she is just so darn accurate. with a steady diet of super-h-points anyhow.

Put a Williams notched blade sight on the dovetails, and you'll have to take the muzzle break on the titan and cut 3/8" or 11mm dovetails in it. Then, go on over to Truglo and get one of there Airgun Fiber optic front sights. Here's a link to everything.
