Title: 2240 front sight removal

Any hints on how to remove the front sight on a 2240? I would like to transfer it to a longer barrel I have. Thank you as always for the help

Just place a wooden block or dowel at the small raised part and gently tap off with a hammer they snap on and off fairly easily.
