I recently picked up a hatsan air stripper for my at44 in 22 cal...haven't had a chance to try it yet so Im wondering if anyone has tried one yet...like does it actually improve accuracy?

I have both stripper and AT 44 and the stripper has a brass sleve which can be slid almost 2 inches away or to the muzzle. I found the best spot was where the brass sleeve was just past the end of the stripper. moving it just a 1/4 inch makes a big difference and make sure you have a lot of time and pellets to find the spot. it is good maybe for pellets that do not shoot that good get better with stripper. all in all after all the hassle of moving it around and the time I took it off lol. with crosman ultra mags and CPHP's I get at wal mart it gets 1/2 inch at 50 yds and at 70 a little under an inch. did the same with the stripper sometimes a little tighter

Moving the cone just 1/16" makes a difference to group size.... I usually find about 1-2 calibers gap between the muzzle and the cone is best, but sometimes less than 1 caliber works best....

It is funny when a guy starts a thread for info gets some and does not respond. Hopefully he is ok

Guys what does one or two calibers mean?
I am pleading flat footed dumb on that one.
Would anyone be so kind as to convert that to inches or millimeters?
Thanks so much
Be Well

If it's a .22 cal, then 0.22 - 0.44".... If a .177, then 0.177 - 0.354".... If a .25 cal then 0.25 - 0.50"....

Sorry Mista meena but with 11 year old autistic twins, I'm pretty busy and don't always get back here that often.
Thanks to all with constructive replies, I will test this when I can make it to the range.
