Title: Tried my new pellets made by johninthecamper
Post by: crosman999 on June 25, 2014, 02:22:40 PM
I have been normally shooting 18gr JSBs and H&N Baracuda pellets mostly out of my Mrod with great luck.Been watching some post of Johns progress with swaging pellets and decided to see what he could create for me.I pretty much wanted a pellet that would shoot like the 21gr but with more knockdown power for jackrabbits.I talked with him about what I needed size wise and what I was using it for and so I decided on a 22gr "bullet"shape hollow point that would push at 900fps.He made a batch for me to try and through some testing have decided this is the pellet I will use for my jackrabbit hunts. My initial impression was how uniform and shiny they were compaired to what I am used to seeing in high $$ pellets.I am a hunter and have no problem paying for what I "want"rather than what they have.He has all my measurements so when its time for more it shouldn't be an issue to get the same pellet,I can change the size, length, weight, hollow point, dome, pointed etc,Pretty cool to say the least.I also got some 16.1gr dome shape"non"hollow points for GS.Had my first kill with the 22gr and it hit the rabbit so hard it flipped it over backwards. 8)

Hi Bob, I'm not to sure of his prices.Only from what I got. I'm sure it would depend on quantity and size or grains etc, Your welcome to email him @ johninthecamper15@gmail.com  Best wishes Dana Webb
