Hello after a long time not checking in. I have been busy with work. And changeling jobs. This morning I got to spend alittle time at the range. I traded a nice BSA to long time retired Michigan Tuner Billy Kizy. In return he sent me his personal San Rafael R1. I had owned one of his tuned FWB 80 pistols in the past and that is how I knew of his tuning work. I tried a few pellets to see what worked. It lies the JSB heavies and AA heavies probably the same pellet I'm guessing. It was a wee bit windy so I limited my testing to 25 yds. Here is an example. 5 shots off my hand resting on a suport, the butt against my shoulder.
I didn't shoot spot #5 that's bad juju!
What do you all think?

Thanks Scotty, ;)
Hi Sparky, yep 860 with the JSB heavies. :D The 8.44 were too hot.. 970 looked like a shotgun pattern.

Congrats on the "new" R1.
I am still getting used to a new R1 carbine; my first springer in this power range (14-15fpe). So far, I am not adjusting well.......but I need more practice time.
