These were about 30yds. It wasn't a two for one. They were shot right next to each other as they sit.

Thanks, I love the juvis. It's funny how the adults will just leave them sitting waiting to be picked off by yours truly. lol

Nice!
Took a couple starlings myself yesterday, momma and juvi. Blew up momma, juvi stood pat, blew up juvi. These things are rousting our native finches and I ain't havin' it.
Daisy 901, 7.9 CPHP, 25 yard off-hand. Sorry, no pics, my shots are with rifle, not camera.
Pretty quiet out there this morning. Stupid as starlings are (I've missed 'em by fractions of an inch and the idiots don't move; a crow is gone in instantly, and has further the good sense to inform his extended family that that tree over there, yeah that one in the redneck's yard, yeah that one, the yard with the guy with the gun, you all stay out of range of that yard) it seems the Message Has Gone Forth. Either that or they're all dead in the immediate vicinity. 100 yards away the neighbors palm tree is just loaded though. But they are staying out of my yard. Good plan, starlings, 'cause that 901 is always pumped up and ready on the porch.
I do thank them for keepin' my field proficiency tuned up, of course.
