Tim McMurray at Mac 1 Airguns specializes in the Sheridans including soldering them. Not sure on cost but you can contact him in his GTA Gate and ask this question.

I do believe Dennis Baker also does these repairs. He also has his own gate here http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?board=187.0 (http://www.gatewaytoairguns.org/GTA/index.php?board=187.0)

I just got my Blue Streak a few weeks ago. Everyone says the first thing to do is remove the rear sight to prevent what happened to your rifle. The wedges that hold the sight in place put upward pressure on the solder joint and it eventually fails. Sorry it happened to you, but good to know it is fixable.
edit to add, I see you are in Texas. Where abouts? Also, it would be great if you could post a couple pics of damage.

Thanks for the info , I do appreciate it , I will check them out. 454ho I'm in Huntsville Texas, and you are right about the rear sight pushing the barrel up that's exactly what it did. I will try to get pics, I have to get my wife to post them I'm not that good at that yet. thanks again for all ya'lls help.

Been through Huntsville a bazillion times. Used to live in Houston and have/had relatives in NE Texas and N Louisiana. Travelled up I-45 all the way back to the 70's. Nice town.
Good luck getting you 'dan fixed. They are great rifles and well worth the cost of repairs.

It is repairable, but will not be cheap. I have seen estimates of about $100 . I understand that because of heat damage to the seals , it will need to be taken apart , resoldered, then resealed. But, you will have a sheridan with full power once finished . You could remove the sight & live with it if it is just a small section of separation.

Timmy @ Mac1 is the best around on the Dans, he resoldered mine, fixed the site issue and I got a steroid job for $140.00, now that was nearly two years ago so prices have gone up.....
He asked before I sent him the gun, does it shoot good, if so then it is worth fixing, I can now get max out this gun with 14 pumps, stock gun maxes at 8, and I get 20 fpe (800+ fps with 13.73gr JSB)
