Title: 1322 problem
Post by: AirgunHunter on June 02, 2014, 12:18:34 AM
Well ever since the other day(nothings changed)the pin that holds the pump arm in place has started coming out.I took it out and then put it back in and every 10 to 20 pumps the thing starts to come out again?Any ideas on what could be causing this?It is extremely frustrating because every time I bang it back in I have to resight my iron sights because the barrel band wobbles.

It's going to continue to happen. I'd highly suggest replacing it with a stainless non slip pin. I would also suggest replacing the breech screw with one that A.C offers. Great products and amazing customer service.

Just make a pin. I used an old dull drill bit. Not sure of the size, just kept trying my old bit pile until I found a snug one. I chucked it in my cordless drill and then spun it while holding my dremel with cut-off wheel in the other. I cut a slot in the pin for an "e" clip. Measured the length I needed and cut another slot at that distance. Then I held a hack saw about 1/8" beyond the 2nd clip and spun it again to cut the pin off. Mine doesn't come out anymore.

I use these pins and they work great. They are made by our Davio here on the forum.
