Title: Got my 880 Camo'd...
Post by: floydlong on May 24, 2014, 02:28:42 PM
I didn't remove the stock. I taped and masked it with paper. I did remove the fore grips. For my first try with spray/sponge painting I am delighted! I used Rustoleum Camo and it says on the can, adheres to plastic. After the color I did apply two coats of matte clear sealer.

WOW!  Very nice looking camo job!  Looks professional.  ;)  What scope and mount do you have on your 880?

I have a Dovetail to Weaver adapter rail and BSA quick dis-connect rings holding a Centerpoint 3-7X40 scope. How ever, it was just as accurate with the 4X Cracker Jacks scope that came with it. Thanks for the compliment. It was my first try. I now have a 10-22 stock I'm gonna attack! :)

Verry nice job, may I ask for details on how you got it to come out so nice?

I would like to do something like that with a couple of my guns, though in a darker camo to blend with this area.
