This video was shared by Crosman on FB. I got through a couple of minutes and turned it off. After hearing them call their competition a horrible gun.... all time low. Poor way to promote your products Crosman!

How do their "claims" convince us of anything? Let's see a real life independent face off of both products and let the viewer decide which is best for their requirements. Add this one to the close range turkey hunt with the new Crosman NP2.
-
THIS IS NOT a CROSMAN VIDEO. They had nothing to do with it. Anyone coulda shared it up to facebook.
I see that the author of this video is someone called "lilbuck" ?
I don't see how "lilbuck" (as a newbie), can be anyway qualified or credible to speak on behalf of EITHER air rifle. Just another kid in the garage, with 1 tin of pellets... posting a video. They're all over YouTube ;)
Lets not associate Crosman Company, as having anything to do with that video...
-
Whoa saw a HONDA .... Nope just some clown with an opinion to air publicly.
-
What EasyRider said. This was not a professional video. >:(
-
ok, I'll repeat myself. Crosman posted this video on their official Facebook page. Which tells me Crosman approves of this video.
Look here and you will see that Crosman posted this on their FB page. So obviously they are ok with it.
https://www.facebook.com/CrosmanCorp?fref=nf (https://www.facebook.com/CrosmanCorp?fref=nf)
So it does not matter if it is an "official" video or not. Crosman gave it their seal of approval by posting it on their facebook page.
-
I am "lucky" to look at my FB twice a month, let alone Crosman's! :o
-
crosman will put anything that says their product is better or suited... sad. look at the turkey hunt video with the np2... yeah, a kill at 4 yards...
edited for language

I know many an archery hunter that love to bring them in that close. Have you ever hunted deer, or turkey out of a stand? 10 yds. is common where I hunt.
-
FaceBook? Seriously? And it bothers you?
;D
We need a roll on the floor thingy SO BAD!
Oh wait! I think I just got a bad poke at FB!!
ROFLMBO!!

social media is the biggest advertising for company's now. What is put on social media by a company....represents the company. Sorry you disagree, but social media is the advertising tool of the 21st century.
This makes Crosman look like idiots to millions of people world wide. It matters
-
Hey. If FB works for you or others? More power to ya.
I can recall My Space and other 'fashion sites' that did the same.
It appeals to the masses and depends on frantic 'I'm watching everything'.
;D
Give it sometime?
It will be replaced with a newer better way to freak one out and get the groupies watering from the mouth.

totally missing the point. Right NOW it is THE social media source. And for a company like Crosman to share this video for the world to see, while publicly BASHING their competition.... shameless and without ethics or morals.
like it or not, social media IS how company's advertise. For better, or in this case for worse.
-
It is what it is and I'll just back away.
When the masses get excited and build upon a so called issue?
Then it does become an issue.
::)
-
calling the competition a "horrible gun" that "scopes fly right off of" is not a non issue. It is low and dirty advertising. Being I own more Crosmans than any other AG I find it disgusting behavior from a company to put their name on this advertisement
-
gracious don't get me started on Crosmans FB giveaway contest.hahahaha >:(
-
Didn't miss any point and claiming 'non-issue' into my posts is reckless on your part as I NEVER posted that!
3 - 2 - 1 PANIC POSTING now open.
Whatever. As My daughter would say.

See? We can get along.

I control nuisance wildlife for a living... raccoon in an attic or crawlspace... snakes, coyotes, hogs, foxes, you name it... I know CQB and the last thing to use is a pellet rifle... I stopped hunting deer right after the military... and turkeys are best hunted with scatterguns. calling things in IS the skill... anything will drop a turkey at 4 yards. I love how all of the sudden is an ethical dilemma, when all I am saying is that there is no skill shooting a turkey at 4 yards.

you and I are talking about 2 completely different video's
-
Are we talking about the video where the kid shoots one and it manages to worm it's way under a chicken wire fence??
THAT video perturbed me off royally. The kid couldn't even hit where he was aiming. Then, had the cajones to brag about what a great hunt it was while the bird was flopping around dying a slow death from a misplaced body shot. If he had any ethics at all, he would have at least tried for a head or neck shot.
Just goes to show that any jackwagon with a video camera and a PC can get their 15 minutes of fame.
Rant over.
-
well I am not. There is a thread just on that video. This thread is supposed to be about the one I shared in the 1st post.

I am not fond of the jacked up on energy drink act or the end zone dance after scoring a TD for that matter, but to say all time low???? You can pull a birds head off and they will run/ flop around like that, and I have seen it many a time when my mother was doing it. A turkey will not just drop with an arrow. A deer can take several minutes to die, and most do. There is a myth of instant death in hunting, and it does not happen that often. An air rifle is not my first choice for hunting game, but I am really thinking about using my M-Rod for my next turkey hunt. To me "all time low" is a network showing one of our troops getting his head cut of by peace loving Muslim's, not someone shooting a turkey with a pellet gun. Stupid mabey, all time low never.

ok, let us try this once again! Iam NOT ....I repeat ...NOT talking about that video!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Does anyone watch the attached links before posting????????
I am talking about the video attached in the 1st post.
I certainly wish posters would read, and watch the links before commenting. This thread is SO SO SO derailed now and off topic it is just plain ridiculous

Tom, I know it didn't do any good, but I posted there that the video needed to be pulled. I have watched several horribly made videos that were supposed to be reviews. A good review NEVER bashes another product like this moron does! Comparisons, maybe. Bashing - NEVER! Some just showed unboxing the gun, in fact, there is a new NP2 video. Very well made, but all it show is the unboxing - WHO CARES about unboxing, I want to see groups, recoil and other meaningful facts.

agreed on all counts!

Ken.
I'm not on facebook, but I think you did the smartest thing concerning this subject!
We aren't of any use here, versus posting complaints, on the facebook page, and call their attn to it. Good on you Ken! ;)
-
facebook is the devil LOL
ill never be on there,
too many old girlfriends that i dont want finding me could find me ,no thanks :)

I had posted on their FB page right away. It was deleted. Not by me. Actually being Crosman is a sponsor having the complaints here makes a LOT of sense !
-
Yea, penetration tells the whole story. Like that he was unconcerned about shooting a pellet in his wall.
Crosman really should have better policies in place to prevent posting of videos on their Facebook page that serves, well, no one.

The best thing is not to argue about it here but to have plenty of posters who are willing to post on that facebook page their dissatisfaction of the video representing Crosman.
ALSO, the GTA does not have ANY sponsors. Never has, never will! Vendors are invited to participate and post on the GTA as long as they meet certain requirements. They do not pay to do so.

with all due respect I am not arguing. I am a bit frustrated that so many posters didn't read or watch the video and hijacked the thread into being about a video it is not about. THAT is annoying.
I did not know that about the vendors. I understood they were sponsors.
In any case, the video given the stamp of approval by Crosman is poor business
-
Crosman should really do a better job of policing their FB page. Some of the comments on posts are really inflammatory if nothing else. Regardless of their personal/corporate politics it's probably a bad policy to allow posts suggesting assassination of elected officials.

To begin with, I DID watch the video you referenced. And, I hope lil buck' s father did as well. He deserves to get his @@@ jacked for putting holes in the garage wall.
I ran across some of his other videos on YouTube, and came to the conclusion, early on, that he's a jackwagon.
As far as the video being posted on crosmans official fb page, that was a pretty big mistake, in my book. If I was chip, I certainly wouldn't want to be associated with that kind of advertising.

I was of course referring to the others who asked if it was about the NP video and not you personally .. Just wanted that to be clear. I was not singling any one person out. Read through the comments and it is clear who watched and who did not. It becomes less clear after the thread got hijacked into being about the NP video
-
I took no offense. Just wanted to get the thread back on track, seeing as how I was also guilty of derailing it.
