I just got my blue fork band installed yesterday and went to re-sight my 2289, took two shots, neither are on target anywhere to be seen....then I start looking higher(since the sight pin is shorter) I didn't find my holes until I got about 11" high!!! So I try to make some adjustments....NOTHING works to bring my groups down at all, I guess I need to get a lower rear sight :( I was hoping to keep my peep sight because I love it :( :(

to keep the peep, try to find a longer front sight pin.

Nah I got the blue fork band for two reasons.
1. When I attempted to use a scope my poi would wander wildly.
2. I want to eventually use a Tko on my 2289.
But my williams wgrs-54 is too high for the blue fork band, I'm doing a little research and am hoping to find that the LPA MIM sight will work, it appears to be much more low-profile.

Hi :D
The LPA mim is 5/16 to 3/8s total from the bottom of the dovetail
Sorry that is the best I can do right now, with it mounted
If it will help I can remove it for a closer "guess" ;D ;D
Hope that helps

Time is precious waste it wisely ???

I have a 3/16" wgos U shaped sight blade that fits the wgrs base. If you want to try it PM me. I will not be using it so you can have it no charge. I think it is lower than the peep but am not sure.
