Title: 392 trigger sear HELP!

i am doing a trigger job on my 392 and was wondering what the second catch is for on the sear?

would it be bad for me to remove it?

what is its purpose?

Sheridan/Benjamin trigger tune mods, also valve mod if yours has the removable valve:
