Yesterday I found a topic related to a grouping issue with Benjamin 392/397 rifles due to an over-spray paint inside the barrel. I checked my rifle to find out that the paint was indeed covering approx 1/2 in from the crown inwards. As the post suggested, I took a q-tip with acetone and cleaned the paint out. I just finished zeroing it and I wanted to share the excellent results. I was shooting from a fixed position 20 meters away from the target, 4 pumps and Crosman Destroyer 7.9 grains pellets, open sights. After zeroing y managed a nice and tight group of about 1 inch with two hits dead center. I'm very happy with the results (considering open sights and my bad vision) I will post a picture as soon as I get to my PC. Thanks the help guys!

Not a bad group considering factory sights. Now that you have had it for a month or more, how do you like it now? Are you happy with the caliber? I bought the 392 (.22 caliber), and it was a learning process. Along the way, I bought both the Williams peep sight, and a scope mount. Good luck with it.
