Title: Made me a BELL TARGET.
Post by: joejoeguns on April 28, 2014, 07:05:59 PM
It works great my slavia 624 shooting at 400 fps set it off fine. I used an old demo blade to make the hardened steel face plate and a desk bell for the ringer.Pull chain resets it.

Very cool idea. Any ricochet issues off the steel?

No pellets were flattening out and falling in front of the target.

Nice job! I like that you designed a mechanism with the pop up '5'. Is your bull 3/8"?

Yes it's all done per the regs I found on bell target.com . 5" plate with 3/8 th bull and 1",2" and 3" rings. Shooting at 18 feet i.e. 6 meters.
