They are OK...mine hits like a jackhammer and I can't keep the scope on it.  Keeps walking back then off the dovetail.

Papa here again------------Was the Storm XT ever sold without a scope ? The one my son gave me doesn't have one and he doesn't remember if it came with one . I have a CenterPotnt 3-9x40 and was thinking maybe mount it on the Storm and see how it shoots.---there I go thinking again and that always gets me in to deep do do . --- These old eyes don't do well without a scope .   -----------------------------------Good Shooting to all---------------------Papa Smurf

Get a couple scope stops.  U can make them from junk scope rings cut down to just the bases, add them tight to the scoperings.   A 1pc mount with more clamping area is a good fix.

That's a good idea.  I think my poi is maxed out in my scope on the storm also.  I get the walking back problem fixed I should be able to better tell.  It kept making adjustments before I figured out what was going on.

Do you have cataracts? When was the last time you went to a good eye doctor? Not trying to be smart but I'm 74 and with the proper glasses have no problem with open sights or scopes.
