;D Yep after 2 weeks of switching back and forth between my S510 ,Pro-Sport and Diana 460 all .177 the S510 is fast becoming my go to gun for just unwinding the mental springs. I can easily stack 10 in one tight ragged hole at 22 yards when I do my part. This rifle is accurate and fun to shoot and even when shooting 10 fast rounds at a time easily stacks pellets 3 , 4 and 5 with no problem . The springers are great and I continue to shoot them daily just to stay sharp but I guess what I am saying is the Dark Side is very seductive . Now where are those cookies I was promised 8) 8)

*LOL* it was just a matter of time.
the S510 quickly replaced my mrod but has now fallen to the bsa and hw100.
I just put the FFP scope on the S510 and will play with it later. only thing needed now is a regulator for the S510 and that should finish it.
as for cookies, oatmeal & raisin, chocolate chip, or lemon cream. *L*

Yes My S510 is the love of my gun life as of now, just a joy even with her long characteristics. Question what power setting do you mostly use. I was medium then went to hi for a couple of months but have returned back to medium power for back yard shooting. I've seen the Australian on you tube shot on medium power out to 100 yards, which was very impressive. I think anything over 50 yards I would switch back to hi power. But changing power settings like that on the fly drastically effects POI and POA. So again what power setting do you prefer?

In my case, I use low power only for indoor 10 m. playing when raining or too windy. When hunting, I use full power most of the time (50 yds.). Occasionally I use 1/2 or 3/4 power for 25-30 yds. shots. Roughly 70% full/20% medium/10% low.

in my case, I use low when inside, outside plinking or target practice out to 20 yards, when shooting longer ranges I'm on high power. rarely use the mid setting.
POI isn't a problem as I documented the POI for low and hi in 10 yd increments from 10 to 100.

;D ;D Right now I have her set to medium and she sounds like an electric stapler which is fine for backyard and basement plinking. This morning I did several 10 shot groups and the best one will hold a .22 pellet without falling out of the hole using Beeman Kodiak 10.65 gr pellets :D :D I can do the same with my Pro sport and and Diana 460 but it takes a little longer to do with the springers ::) ::)

You've got to just love the versatility of this gun. I often shoot 10-13 yards in the house on medium but will try it on low. The only time I went to low was playing in the back yard 10-25 yards which I need almost 5 mil-dots hold over cause I was zero at 21yds on high power. But I just love slinging lead. So I will re-zero for JSB 16 gr. at 19 yards and try to map out Low, Med, and high out to 50 yards for High and med. If i do my part I've got pellet on pellet size groups of 5 in high and medium power. But I will expand my horizons to low power and see what she does.

You'll get close to 100 shots at low power... Sweet.
