I have an older 1277 and want to keep the cocking knob at the rear, but I want to put a bolt breech on it, Will this just involve not putting the cock pin in the hammer? Or do I have to change compression tube and do away with the rear cocking knob?
Thanks Kevin

I have installed a modern plastic breech and a new barrel on a phase II 1377. Do you have a phase I or phase II.

Just mount up a breech and leave out the hammer pin. You will still cock with the rear knob and chamber the pellet with the bolt.

Plus 1 for the chef
I will be doing this to a 1377 and will change it to a 1322 with a 12 inch barrel, plastic breech and a 22 bolt
The old barrel is toast from many years of BBs the curse of a rifled barrel ;D
