This webcam is in southern Minnesota. Solar powered. I have been watching for about a year, now.
Two of the three eggs have hatched, now it gets fun watching them grow.

Nice to see an eagle up close on camera

I've been following along since late feb or early march when so many morning visits to the site showed mama eagle covered in snow while she patiently sat on her eggs. Now the two chicks are getting pretty big but i did notice the larger chick with a whiter head is getting 95% of the food when mama flies up with a critter. The other chick just watches its sibling eat while it seems it must be close to starving. Natural selection i guess. Been very interesting to watch these birds.

Fascinating; This will be a perfect after work de-stressor.

I am not trying to hijack your thread, but there has been an eagle cam here in Pittsburgh for quite awhile. At the end of feb. there were 3 eaglets born. The mother and father have had a time fending off. other predators I don't think i am allowed post a link. but i will try

Today, the camera at Berry College in Rome, Georgia went dead. I am thinking the young one may have left the nest. I had been watching it for about six weeks.

No hijacking as far as I am concerned. I think ALL webcams as interesting as the eagle ones will be enjoyed by the membership. I just saw this particular one on the news last year and have been following since.

Berry College in Rome, Georgia - According to the writeup with the video, the young one will stay in the area for a while. So you may continue to see it around the next. To paraphrase: The Eagle has FLOWN.
