Can someone tell me usable shot count .177 vs .22?
Thanks

This could vary a lot. It depends on what you consider usable. With my meager tuning knowledge (and some luck) we got Betty Lou's .177 shooting into the mid 30ish shot numbers. Keep in mind, she shoots until she falls below her intended POI and does not consider ES, FPS or FPE. I can shoot my .22 20 usable shots at 20 ish fpe. These result are with no other modding than the bstaley Oring. Shot 27 on the string below fell short of my intended POI at 25yds.

I've been shooting my .22 FDPCP way more than my .177. I'm shooting my .22 at spinners at 30 40 and 50 yards. Yesterday was kind of windy but I was able to hit a 1.25 spinners with regularity for about 15 shots at 50 yards. So I was filling at every 15 shots at 50 yards and filling every 20-25 at shorter distances at small spinners. Mine really loves the 14.66gr H&N Field target pellets. It's no big deal for me to fill my tank is 2 feet away but If I was hand pumping I probably would stretch it out a little more. I have my .22 sited in at 30 yards and the 1st mildot below is dead on at 50. I love how that worked out!

It really depends on your intended range and how fussy you are.... I use a 4% ES as my benchmark, as that causes little noticeable POI change at 50 yards.... If you are shooting at 25 yards and less, you can use a 10% ES.... I only have a .22 cal FD-PCP, and to stay within a 4% ES and using a 1500 psi fill, the best I have done is 9 shots.... I refill at 1000 psi....
