Title: Marauder barrel on 1377

It seems that the 20 inch choked Marauder barrel (Part 1763-017) may well be the best Crosman barrel available.  With that in mind, will the .177 Marauder barrel fit the standard Crosman steel breech that I will be putting on my 1377C.  And by fit I mean with no machining and that the barrel port lines up with the valve port of the 1377 compression tube.

Got my answer on another forum.  The breech end of the Marauder barrel doesn't have the 60 degree taper of the 13xx/22xx barrels and the air port is in a slightly different place.  

Looks like I will be getting a 1760 barrel, but I think I'll pick up a Marauder barrel at the same time and see if I can make it work.  If anyone has any experience doing this, I could surely use any advice you're willing to share.

I would be interested to know if the Marauder barrel is the same OD. 1/2" or 7/16".
