Ironically the delay is due to getting the best match barrels available. So we have not been able to produce data until everything comes together, but obviously I am hopeful of bringing you good news very soon!

I admire the out-of-the-box thinking :)  Just curious, I assume the firing valve is part of the MAC?

How soon do you expect contacting buyers for the first 100?
That Gold Tag would be great for my collection.

Can the quick release fitting be used with a pump?
Title: Re: Inovairtech Update

Hi Monkey

Yes, depending on your pump fitting, but I would say that we have designed this for fast and easy use, to eliminate the need for a pump.
So it really is up to the user, although we would recommend saving your energy and go direct to the tank if you have access to one.

Thanks.  But it shouldn't be bad at all to pump---IMO.

They seem to me the perfect Handpumping system being so small

Completely up to you guys obviously, but two of the main feature is ease of use and consistent pressure. We recommend direct connect but each his own.

Not to mention non carrying air tank, recoiless, quiet, powerful, sexy, etc etc

Is fill pressure 4500 psi for the cartridges?  If so, which pump would do that?

Hi

As stated earlier in this thread, we do NOT recommend using a pump, the system is actually design not to use one.

Please see the link below to see how it works.

That's to bad.  A lot of us don't have a tank or compressor, a little out of reach for some and some just don't want to buy a tank.  Will you consider making an adapter for those who still pump?

Joe

Hi Joe

We probably will actually produce an adapter in the future as the pumps could be used for pressure up to around 2,500 psi.
However our priority at the moment is to produce the MAC35, and cartridges. We are also developing a multi branched adapter for filling more than one cartridge at a time from the air tank.
I will contact you with any news on an adapter for the pump, just as soon as we can get on to that.

Well...whatever happens, I'm still very interested in your designs.  It may end up being my first big bore.  May not be immediate, but I like what I see.  I hope to see your new site once it is up.  Hey, you all should offer lay-away or flex pay---lol.  No, seriously---should be offered.   ;D

Question, can't you just attach that filling system to a Pump hose instead of a tank valve ?

Yea sure you can Pirate,

I was referring to a couple of guys who need a fitting to mate up with the MAC filling port from their pump.

Anyway, taking the opportunity of a post to let you know there is a new promo video out today but can only be viewed from our "discounters" website, so here is the link macthegun.com/about.html (http://macthegun.com/about.html)

We are publishing one in the next coupe of weeks with some ballistics testing too! but that will be on our regular YouTube channel
