I'd like a 12" barrel for my 1322. I know Crosman makes one for their Bug Out Kit gun but I can't find the part number. All I find is their 10.25", 14.5", 18" and 24" barrels. Does anyone know if Crosman sells this barrel and if so, the part number?
I know Charles Mellon cuts them down but I'd rather not wait a month or so to get it.
Thanks...

It is easy enough to cut down your own and recrown, just chuck it up in the lathe.

Likely not yet available as a part, the Bug Out with the 12" isn't a year old yet....

Don't know if its 12 inches long or not, but the barrel part number for the original
2289 built years ago is 2289-001.

That will be 14.5"....

The 2289-001 barrel is 12 inches long :D
Simple call and ask Crosman 1 800 724 7486
Don't ask why I know this number, I am not addicted to anything ;D ;D ;D

You are probably right, the 2289-001 number is from the manual and that is original
I heard somewhere that the original barrel was a 10.5 inch The manual is dated from 1998 so who knows, the way Crosman does their part numbers there is no way to tell, and you may not be able to find out by asking
You may have to take your chances and order it, or order a 14.5 and cut it down and crown it. :D :o

Here is a picture of the parts diagram for the 2289 on Crosman's website. The barrel extends way past the pump tube which leads me to believe that it's 14.5" long. The part # for the barrel is 2289-001. I'll buy it, cut it down and re-crown it.

The 2289-001 barrel is now 12 inches long. I have ordered this barrel before expecting it to be the 14.5 inches of the old 2289. I guess that they kept the same part number when they changed the length.
The 2250-19 is the currently available 14 inch barrel in .22 from Crosman

That's exactly what I wanted to know, thanks.
Edit: just placed the order with Crosman and the guy taking the order believes the barrel is 12". It costs only $11. Makes me wonder why I see Crosman barrels for sale on eBay and other places for $40....

They sell them on fleabay to make money. Not bad when you can make double or triple from someone new to the hobby or someone that hasn't ask here or done the research themselves.
Example screw sets $15 to$20 bucks on the bay I bought 3 sets of stainless screws ( for the 2240 for $2.30 and tax from a fastener company locally.
What you don't have one in your area, Tacoma Screw sells on line you just need to know the sizes, and someone kindly posted a chart with that info on the forum. My copy seems to have gone AWOL so I need to find it again ??? :o ::)

Yes the parts are very low cost from Crosman. I have never understood the EBay markups. Same thing with Daisy parts (especially for the Daisy 880, Daisy 901, Daisy 35, Winchester 77x) they will charge 5 to 9 times the cost of parts from Daisy.
Sorry for ranting a bit.

Cool testing idea :D
It should be noted that the 2289 is a 22 and the pellet travels slower than the 177s from the others, still impressive and a real use for a phone book.
I have allocated 2 old phone books for testing my shooters later. 8)
This is what makes this forum so great many smart folks passing along great ideas. :D 8)

LOL. This is the first time I have had a response to my signature. Also do not expect those kind of results, as all of my guns are heavily power modded :) .
