Title: My new Beeman R7 Tuned
Post by: korps on March 22, 2014, 10:47:34 PM
Bought this from a fellow GTA member before he had the chance to post. All tuning was done prior to purchase. Shoots like a dream. R7 .177

Hitting a can at 70 yards from a bench is to easy with this.

Shooting CPHP @585 Average (6FPE) Makes things interesting when your used to shooting JSB 18.13s @910fps with a PCP

Previous owners comment when i emailed him talking about what i can do to it...
"DONT DO ANYTHING TO IT!!!! I installed a jm kit, a hw seal, and lubed with ultimox, the barrel tension it set, and cocking arm has a nylon insert I made. it needs nothing, the trigger can be lightened a touch, but I wouldn't mess with anything IMO, its perfect and has maybe 100 shots on the tune and I can do a single ragged hole at 25yds you cannot press a cigarette butt into.."

easy enough for me haha.
Further research says it wass made between 98-01. So roughly 15 years old.

Yes those R7's are sweet shooters for sure.  Once again when you buy well built German rifles you get what you pay for!  She is sweet looking korps!

From what I've read the R7 is one awesome rifle, with the tune must be sweet! Sounds like a great find for you.

I plan on purchasing an R9 and HW 30S or a R7 within the next week.

I would like to come across a 10+ year old R9 myself. Tuned or not. Then i would tune it. These sub 12 FPE german springers are sweet. I find myself choosing it over the PCP for fun. PCP just seems to easy when your trying to entertain yourself.
