Yesterday after doing some research(limited) I contacted Dan at XP air guns and put myself on the waiting list for a new ranger.45 cal. I'm still wet behind the ears when it comes to PCP so I figure by the time I'm ready for this gun I'll already have everything I need. While doing my "research" I've convinced myself that a 4500 psi nitrogen (leased tank from local supplier) setup is the way to go. Not quite sure if xp will void warranty on this setup or not . Recently I aquirred a Hatsan at44 tactical in .25 cal and I plan on doing all my learning with it . As of now using Bobs long barrel mods for the AT44 as a template and taking it one step at a time . I personally don't have the time to record all the info as it progresses but all I can tell you is I'm making some good progress. Now I'll just have to wait for the new riffle to get here. Does anyone have any recomendations for me being such a newby? Any help is greatly appreciated.

skip the 4.5K and go with 6K 444cuft and you'll be doing the 3 for 4 deal a lot 8)

I advise lots of patience being on the waiting list unless things have sped up lately. Regards, Tom
