A magnificent day greeted 14 field target shooters for a great match. The course was well balanced with a new twist for the pistol guys. We had 5 extra targets dedicated to pistol only but allowed the pistol guys to shoot all targets. This gave them a 56 shot match.
We had some new shooters, Bryan and Ryan who enjoyed their new found sport of field target. Bryan did well for a new ft shooter. We also had Jim Poh from Norther California join us as well as Larry Chan who we have not seen in a while.
The weather report called for 15+ mph winds but we lucked out with milder conditions. I shot with George. When I sat down the wind died. When George sat down the wind picked up. I tried to convince George that I had learned to micro manage the wind. I don't think he bought it but I had others wondering. Is it possible?
All in all it was a great day with a nice turnout. Later we retired to Pollo Loco where told war stories and added our contributions to the CASA Book Of Excuses. It is getting to be a voluminous tomb. Excuses like "i did not load a pellet" and "I forgot to turn my elevation knob" were my contributions.

Very nice score you posted Larry. I think there must be something to your control over the winds to get that far out ahead of the pack. ;D Its nice to see your club had a turnout with a nice mix of pcp and springer shooters, along with the pistol guys.

Another GREAT turnout for an early in the year match ... warmer spring weather in the following months should increase attendance.
Good shooting going on looking at scores posted ;)
