yes indeed! fine looking gun! it about time they brought out a new BB :o :P

Its great to see some new German springers coming onto the market. ;D I'm very curious to know the specs on this new FWB break barrel. What will the length, weight and power be? We already know the accuracy will definitely be there with the Feinwerkbau name behind it. I'll definitely be staying tuned. ;D
-
I'm sure its an up dated version of the 124D and probably in the same power range I would guess? I can't wait to see it come out myself ;D I have been contemplating buying a HW50s but no more :o the FWB's are a superior rifle IMO ;) I had a nice 124D a few yrs back I wish I'd kept but such is life! I will be buying 1 of these if they make it here for sale ;) IMO these rifles will be the cats meow for a smaller low powered springer with none of the Ill's that HW's have ;D :P

Mid powered FWB????? Uh oh!!
How in God's name to I justify this one?? I'm sure I'll figure something out!

Any clues about the price tag? Well over a grand i would guess.

What retailer(s) will carry this rifle in the states?

You can safely bet that Pyramyd will have them.
Perhaps AoA and AGD will have them also.
The major players that do business with Umarex in other words.

I am LOVING this rifle!! I e mailed FWB and will report back with their reply.
I think I NEEEEEED one of these!!

I love the way the Germans advertise their wares. No smiling people or camouflaged dogs, just pure details and specifications. They let the numbers do their talking.........

Before you jump its almost 45 inches long and over 8lbs in weight. The trigger guard to my taste is pretty ugly with all those sharp bends. The stock up near the front looks like an axe chopped it off so crude -no graceful lines at all. And the word Feinwerkbau painted white on the stock?? Someone downplayed the HW50s in an earlier post. But in 177cal that gun will beat any feinwerkbau 124 in accuracy and match its power at a much easier price point.
-
I see a few caution flags already. The length and weight are an automatic turn off to me. The trigger guard looks ugly as *(&^, and the idea of Umerex having anything to do with the distribution seems questionable. Why Feinwerkbau decided to make a Sporter bigger than their original Sporter is beyond me. Especially when the new models power level isn't really a big jump over the older models velocity. Note I didn't say 'improved'. If anything, I would really be interested in how Paul Watts grades this rifle before I could realistically look into purchasing one.
-
cav, I'm not down on HW I've owned a ton of them as well as FWB's I've also had the HW50s and a FWB124D and IMO if the new FWB is of the quality of the older rifles it a winner for sure ;D :P
-
The longer barrel puts you closer to the target= Increased accuracy. :P
-
FWB is second to none. You can bet, it will be the best springer ever built for sporting purposes. I love the length and weight. Just right ! It will be a huge success.

Petey you to funny ;D :P
