Title: Pellet holder while hunting?
Post by: 454 Big Block Chevy on July 22, 2010, 06:05:36 PM
what do you hunters use to hold mabey 6-12 pellets on your rifles for READY SET GO reloading while hunting?  i seem to remember some foam with holes punched in it for holding a few, but just curious at what you guys have come up with since then.

I use the little foam brace that was shipped with my scope, fits right over the end cap. ;D
I just used a soldering iron to melt some holes in it for .22 pellets, perfect fit might I add.

I have the DougT-WadeS type 16 round clip !  ;D

One inch diameter gray pipe insulation around the scope with 16 holes punched in it. I used a 3/16 inch leather punch to make the holes. I think Doug and Wade used a hot nail on theirs

IF YOU LIKE TAKEING SEVERAL DIFFERENT KINDS, TRY EMPTY BIC INK PENS. .22 AND .25 CALS STACK PERFECTLY ON TOP OF EACH OTHER. A DOZEN OR SO PER PEN. EASY TO TUCK SEVERAL PENS UNDER A SWEAT BAND OR AMMO SLOTS ON A BUTSTOCK COVER, OR USE A PENS THAT HAVE SHIRT CLIPS.
