Title: New Trigger in the Mail...!
Post by: Redharris on February 19, 2014, 11:34:38 PM
I just got e-mail confirmation that my GRT-III trigger is coming my way.
I am very excited..... and looking forward to installing it on my Benjamin Regal NP....
Have heard so many positive things about trigger replacement in general.
The stock trigger is........less than satisfying,,,,,,,,, so this new trigger just Has to be an improvement :D

Rich, I don't know the age of your Regal, but if it's still on warranty hang onto the stock trigger and other parts in case warranty service is required.  If you have to send the gun to Crosman you will not get the same gun back and you would lose your trigger.  The same goes for brass washers if you install them.

While you have the stock off I would shop for some decent metric Allen head screws to replace the original Phillips head screws.

Be very careful with the screw you access through the trigger guard.  If you slip the trigger guard will break.  It seems to be a very brittle form of PVC.

it's like night and day,!

did mine a couple weeks ago. watch the 2 u-tube videos while you're waiting and read through the instructions online.

my install (on a crosman nitro venom dusk) was a little more involved than the 2 videos that i watched but was covered by the instructions.
involved a bit of grinding/filing but all worked out well.

when all else fails, read the instructions!
actually, read them first!  8)

Got my Trigger.
Read instructions. Watched Video.
Easy installation only took 10 minutes.
I am almost at a Loss For Words as to how much better this trigger works in my gun.
WOOT!
