UPS dropped off my new to me FWB 601 today and of course today it starts raining so I can't really shoot it, and it's supposed to pour for the next 4 or so days. Usually you wash your car and it rains, but this year it looks like it's buy a new rifle and it rains, Sooo, since we need the rain in California every body needs to go buy a new rifle. What do you guys think??
It looks like who ever owned it shot it in some pretty big tournaments...

I was chasing after some HOSPs this morning and it looked like a dance! ;D
To the OP;

I want to hear about the 601, I chimed in hoping to try it out since I live somewhat near the OP ;D
Of course he's welcomed to shoot any of mine in return.
Thanks, Joe!
We could really use more of the wet stuff right about now.

I'll get some pics posted tomorrow. The rifle has a tech inspection sticker from the "first 2000 Olympic team selection match" and a few others from big U.S. shoots. The rifle came from Jim Edmondson and he doesn't know the history of the rifle.
Maybe we should do a Foothill get together some time??
And keep doing the rain dance!

Dpr, it sounds like you bought yourself a VERY nice rifle by getting that FWB601. I've got the older piston-driven FWB300S and its a blast to shoot. You are sure to love your new toy. ;D
Well, with all of the rain around here today I didn't go out and shoot, other than to rattle off a few shots over my chrony. With how parched things have been, I'll forgo shooting for a few weeks if it means we get lots of moisture.

Set up a trap and target in the garage, or shoot down your hall way.
Tip: First make sure the sights are properly aligned by shooting at a CLOSE distance like 10ft.
I say this because if the sights are not aligned, you could end up putting a pellet through your drywall. :(

That would be great!
You're welcome to come down here too, we'll definitely talk when the weather warms up.
