I have recently purchased a Hatsan Striker Edge, the trigger is smooth but pull is long and much stiffer than it needs to be for good accuracy.
Does the GRT III trigger work on these rifles?
Has anyone discovered a mod that will shorten the pull and lighten the trigger on these rifles?
I tried to dig up the answer to these questions but never found it so I figured i'd start this thread in hopes to get some comments from some of you highly experienced fellas here.
Thanks in advance for any and all help in this matter.

I have heard that these work well and they do ship to U.S. I have also heard that the GRTIII will fit but because of the fit of the stock to the action it is all but unusable. Just repeating what I've read, I don't have 1st hand info on this. Hopefully others will chime in with more info.

Thanks Scotty for the reply.
What are you speaking of that works according to what you have heard?
I dont see how the stock would have anything to do with whether or not a GRT III trigger would work or not since its only a trigger blade and not the entire trigger assembly.

It is the stock that makes the difference.
Most of the Chinese B19 variants stocks get thinner around the trigger section, the Striker (Hatsan's B19 variant) does not, it uses a longer blade.

Look at the shape of the stocks.
So if you cut the GRT3 trigger and tig weld an extension in it will work.
Or email Will in Wales from http://woodfield-gcp.co.uk/ (http://woodfield-gcp.co.uk/) and see if he still has any of his Striker triggers.
There are other ways of making the trigger a lot lighter, shorter and adjustable, but were not allowed to talk about them on here.

Thanks for the information and pix Shiloh, didnt realize the GRT trigger was that much shorter than the stock Syriker trigger, I found a place in the UK that was making the Striker replacement triggers at one time, I plan to contact them to see if they still make them, my rifle shoots so well its a shame it has such a horribly long hard trigger pull, a lighter shorter pull will make this rifle a real pleasure to shoot for sure.
