Title: leaking foster fitting

I filled my mrod last night and noticed today that the fill gauge was down to 2500 psi.I tried to fill it back up it started leaking down almost instantly. The problem is around the fill nozzle , it just kept getting worse till you can hear it leaking with the tv on.I took the fill end off and it rattles around and won't fill over 500 psi.It has a screen on it can I tear into it to fix it.

Shouldn't need to mess with the screen. The foster nipple that is threaded into the endcap has an o ring in it.  I would guess either that o ring is bad or a small piece of debris is holding it open.

chances are a little of corrision on the nipple. make sure all the air is out of the tube and remove just the nipple. clean off the corrision use a little silicone grease , teflon tape the thread and reinstall.

I take it everything worked out and it's holding air again?
