Title: Tank refill ?
Post by: Dog-gone on January 23, 2014, 01:43:22 PM
Im not saying Im going to get this tank for sure...
https://www.pyramydair.com/product/benjamin-carbon-fiber-tank-90-cu-in-gauge-hose-w-female-quick?a=4203 (https://www.pyramydair.com/product/benjamin-carbon-fiber-tank-90-cu-in-gauge-hose-w-female-quick?a=4203)
but if I did then my question is how many refills could I get on my Mrod .25 if I started out with rifle already filled at 3000 and then refilled every time it dropped to 2000 psi ?
Im not going to hold anyone to a specific number but I was wanting a ballpark figure on how many times I could load 1000 psi into the Mrod (from 2000 to 3000) from this tank when filled ?

crosman web site says 10 fills from 2000 to 3000. acording to them, the tank is 14.72cf .
not sure if the .25 cal has a bigger tube or not, so it might make a difference.

BUT!

thats only a 90 cubic INCH tank!

for a couple hundred more you could get a joe b 97 cubic FOOT tank that will fill the mrod around 70+ times instead of 5 :)

just sayin ;D
