notice i was having a little trouble hitting the target today and finally realize my scope stop was gone. sheared right off! scope seems ok. it was the hammers one piece mount that came with the scope.
gonna be a chore to get that sheared off bolt outta that hole. Is there a mount that wont creep?
not sure if this should be in china or optics gate, sorry...

Steve, I think your post is more general airgun than China specific.
I have read where some of the guys use Locktite in the grooves as well as in mounting threads of screws. You already know your mounting pin should not have sheared. I don't know if it was a pin or a screw but I'm guessing the broken part is actually a pin.
Any good quality one piece mount should stay in place. I have a Hawke myself and have had no complaints. It has four screws along the length as well as a stop pin. It doesn't move but it's only on a TX 200 which is not a hard hitter anyhow.
You may be able to put the gun on your drill press and drill the pin for an E-Z out. If it's a hardened pin you may have SERIOUS trouble.
Good luck on your quest.

yeah the stop is screwed into a threaded hole. the mount was a one piece with 3 screws. ill check on pa and see about a 4 screw one. give MM a yell too for a new scope stop.
