Title: DAQ .50 carabine stock project,......getting close

Since I couldn't get any of the stock makers to cut me a stock I had to start to make one on my own, no experiance, knowhow or the right tools, so it's being a real thinking/trubble shooting affair, but I'm getting there, the last picture is how I left it today.

Thanks guys, I'm pretty happy on how's coming along, the wood is not the best, but I didn't wanna waiste money, I had no clue if I could do it  ;D ;D

NO, I wasn't :)  but, I do have experiance in making wooden bows for quite a few years :)

my brother and i worked on a stock for a disco, we used a single piece and a skill saw. glueing 2 pieces may work better for us.

btw the stock you made is lookin sharp!

thanks guys, I should get the DAQ back from the tuner in 3 weeks, than I'll post the finished stock mounted on the beast  ;D ;D

I'm allready thinking to go and buy some quality wood and start on an other one, ....now that I have a blueprint and some experiance  ;D
