OK - I had a 30S in .22 cal. It was really nice - easy cocking, smooth shooting, low recoil, quiet, etc. But in .22 it seemed to take a while for the pellet to get there at 25 yards.
Considering another one in .177. Will the caliber switch on this gun make a big enough difference that I'd notice?

.177 is really the only viable caliber for this rifle. Just not enough energy for .22, and even .20 is most likely nothing special in this gun. tk

After shooting one in .22, the .177 may seem more lively to you but it is the perfect caliber for this gun. You won't regret getting one.

When I get a HW30s or R7 it will be in .177.
