I have, they shoot 1 hole, the gun is very easy to shoot, but i always pull it... so its one ragged hole... even with cheapo CPHP.

WOW!! Nice job on the photography. I love the wood grain and the whole wood look. I have that same scope on my H&R .270, hope it serves you well on that set up too.

Copy that. Just like finding really nice walnut is hard, at least without paying a blooming fortune for it.

that is great looking. i see that the wood has the lighter colored 'smiley' on it is that why they call it birdseye? i had a bsa with that on it and my mrk3 has some of that. and does the muzzlebrake act as a mod?

I like the stock. Some might look at the light and dark and think it is uneven, but "dang" -- that is the type of thing I WANT in my stocks. I've been practicing with a pen torch to burn them in!

I got a RWS 54 a few weeks ago that had a nice stock -- nicer than I expected. If you don't like the character, you might as well paint them... that's what I say. I've got a bunch of projects... and I hope to get character like you have here!

Title: Re: Very Photogenic (TX200)
Post by: tpw on February 05, 2011, 08:49:44 PM
that scope is a 3x9x44 swat. i currently have a 4x14x50 30mm sw on it now. vector scope. and that is an unusual choice for a mount setup since since it dosnt have hardly any recoil. may i ask why you chose that?

Some people like it some don't.  i think it looks good.  but once i get a nicer scope, i'l order a fancy scope mount... gotta lower it a bit... its comfortable for me to look through, but at 10 yds POI is almost 2" different than at 20 yds... heck even 2.5 inches if i'm not mistaken

i hope its a good impact. lol. i want to go but it all depends on money mainly. i have a place to stay if i do go which is great. gta guys are very generous(including gene LOL). i really liked the trigger shoes for the tx but they are all out of country. does anyone make them in the US? i know there would be a good market for them. im leary of the over seas market with customs and such. id love one in flat black

Tom, I've purchased a LOT of gear from overseas and customs is very easy.  i've had gun parts and different thing delivered... heck i've had some laser pointers delivered from wickedlasers in china and they were about 10x over the american legal limit... no issues.

I have also bought and shipped oversea's with little trouble. The only time I had trouble was one time I powdercoated two small 2-cycle exhaust pipes for a R/C gas boat. The shipment was delayed when it was X-rayed. They thought I was shipping RPG's. They did look like RPG's I'll give them that.LOL. Once they opened the box the shipment went on its way. It delayed it a few days.

Nice cocking handle!   I am a carbine guy myself ,but decided on the MkIII. I have read it is a touch quieter and it is easier to cock.

I held my TX's cocking handle 3 inches down to HC length and it make a big difference. Now I know why the HC comes with the cocking grip.

Tom, i mean no offense but why would you keep an S200 to 12ft?  PCP with LW barrel should be one hole accurate to 25+ yds...... i know my TX is one hole at 25 if i do my job... i can't imagine an S200 would be any "less" accurate... and my TX is a 15 FT (FAC) gun.  Just my opinion.  I want a S410 but i want it cranked in power.  I've seen those 410's cranked to 40 fpe... and that makes me happy inside.
