Yes that is nice!
-
SWEET! Very nice! ;D
Have you tryed H&N FTT 8.6 grain? Just tried some in my MIII. 5 shots one hole! ;D
Got to love the TX's ;D
-
I have, they shoot 1 hole, the gun is very easy to shoot, but i always pull it... so its one ragged hole... even with cheapo CPHP.
-
Cool! She sure is a beauty. ;D
-
Nice. I like beechwood stocks. My favorite stock wood, in fact(next to birdseye maple).
-
I love birdseye maple... but finding it is hard....
-
Ya just have to love the lines of the TX, just beautiful. Looks like mine :)
Jeff
-
Heheheh, thanks all!
-
WOW!! Nice job on the photography. I love the wood grain and the whole wood look. I have that same scope on my H&R .270, hope it serves you well on that set up too.
-
I love birdseye maple... but finding it is hard....
Copy that. Just like finding really nice walnut is hard, at least without paying a blooming fortune for it.
-
that is great looking. i see that the wood has the lighter colored 'smiley' on it is that why they call it birdseye? i had a bsa with that on it and my mrk3 has some of that. and does the muzzlebrake act as a mod?
-
I like the stock. Some might look at the light and dark and think it is uneven, but "dang" -- that is the type of thing I WANT in my stocks. I've been practicing with a pen torch to burn them in!
I got a RWS 54 a few weeks ago that had a nice stock -- nicer than I expected. If you don't like the character, you might as well paint them... that's what I say. I've got a bunch of projects... and I hope to get character like you have here!
-
the muzzelbreak is sold as, labled as, and supposedly is, a LDC?????? (gun quieter thingy that shall not be named here)
-
The TX 200's are sweet looking shooters. Love mine too..
-
Thank you for the compliments, i don't know anyone who is unhappy with there TX's or PS's.
-
Gene, don't show me that rifle!!!!!!! that rifle is what sent me on this crash course of European gun love... your TX made me want one more than a new deer rifle.
-
My eyes!! My eyes!!! :o :o Those rifles are so gorgeous, they hurt my eyes! need my shades to look any further. 8)
darryl
-
HEHEHEHE, they look 1000% better in real life.

here is mine darryl. lol
-
gene, is that an hc? i seen the gripper on the underlever
-
Tom, Nice scope!!! is that the Swat 4-12?
-
Those are some beautiful ladies. Like that trigger guard Gene.
-
that scope is a 3x9x44 swat. i currently have a 4x14x50 30mm sw on it now. vector scope. and that is an unusual choice for a mount setup since since it dosnt have hardly any recoil. may i ask why you chose that?
-
oh wow i do really like that polished brass trigger guard... Where'd you get that puppy?
-
you gotta ask gene. mine is stock but i do know they sell them. last one i seen was 45 i think. bit to rich for my blood. lol
-
Jeepers... Hey tom. You planning on attending the next Fun shoot? i'd like to meet ya!!!! Looks like you've been making a big impact here on the forums lately and i'm glad to see ya here!
-
You can get trigger guards here

They look sweet against the wood
-
Wow, There work is beautiful... Purely Beautiful.
-
The fit is perfect too. ;D
-
;D ;D ;D I Really like the lines of the classic looking Tx in the MkII stock configuration ,clean clear lines .......Nice setup with the scope.......Shoot Safe and Enjoy....Bill 8)
-
Some people like it some don't. i think it looks good. but once i get a nicer scope, i'l order a fancy scope mount... gotta lower it a bit... its comfortable for me to look through, but at 10 yds POI is almost 2" different than at 20 yds... heck even 2.5 inches if i'm not mistaken
-
Beautiful.
-
that is one gorgeous rifle.rob

i hope its a good impact. lol. i want to go but it all depends on money mainly. i have a place to stay if i do go which is great. gta guys are very generous(including gene LOL). i really liked the trigger shoes for the tx but they are all out of country. does anyone make them in the US? i know there would be a good market for them. im leary of the over seas market with customs and such. id love one in flat black
-
the mrk2 does look nice but im biased cause i have the mrk3. lol. ill die before i get rid of her
-
Tom, I've purchased a LOT of gear from overseas and customs is very easy. i've had gun parts and different thing delivered... heck i've had some laser pointers delivered from wickedlasers in china and they were about 10x over the american legal limit... no issues.
-
I have also bought and shipped oversea's with little trouble. The only time I had trouble was one time I powdercoated two small 2-cycle exhaust pipes for a R/C gas boat. The shipment was delayed when it was X-rayed. They thought I was shipping RPG's. They did look like RPG's I'll give them that.LOL. Once they opened the box the shipment went on its way. It delayed it a few days.

thats a big chunk of wood that you have attached to the reciever. lol
-
gene, is that an hc? i seen the gripper on the underlever
Yeppers... it is the best of the best TX-200's...:) dont like long barrels...:)
-
i dont mind the longer barrel but i know they both shoot great
-
Nice cocking handle! I am a carbine guy myself ,but decided on the MkIII. I have read it is a touch quieter and it is easier to cock.
I held my TX's cocking handle 3 inches down to HC length and it make a big difference. Now I know why the HC comes with the cocking grip.

-
yes i'm resurecting this thread.... Dinosaur!
Tom your rifle is gorgeous! is that a Leapers Swat scope?
454
-
ty for the comment. i do love this gun and its not a leapers.its a vector raptor 4x14x50mm scope with a 30mm tube. its a great scope and equal to leapers quality
-
you have a nice set up on this baby!
-
ill be getting an aa s200 12ft in a month or so and will probably go with a leapers 3x12x44 30mm scope on it. that is a nice gun
-
Don't forget pic's Tom. ;D
Dustin
-
WOW..... some great looking shooters !!!!!!! Mike
-
i sure wont
-
Tom, i mean no offense but why would you keep an S200 to 12ft? PCP with LW barrel should be one hole accurate to 25+ yds...... i know my TX is one hole at 25 if i do my job... i can't imagine an S200 would be any "less" accurate... and my TX is a 15 FT (FAC) gun. Just my opinion. I want a S410 but i want it cranked in power. I've seen those 410's cranked to 40 fpe... and that makes me happy inside.
-
I sooo want one in .22! Thanks for sharing guys!
-
i dont hunt and have 30yds max to shoot so i dont need all the extra power. im looking for as close to firearm ease of shooting as i can get
-
well your tx.22 should be quite close to that... but hey the PCP AA guns are awesome! hope you get it!
-
This is the most photogenic TX200. The one you were all lookin for but I got there first... ;D
