Hey folks! Placed an order to get a HW98 .22 tomorrow (today I guess ;D). I'm really excited for it. Looks absolutely amazing. A question though, is a spring compressor need to service it? I've seen a lot lately of Weihrauch hacking their springs. And I want to Vortek it. I've seen a video on how to disassemble the HW95 (same action?) But he is in Germany, so its limited to 5.5 fpe or something and no need for a spring compressor.
I love how theres no need for one in my TX. But need one for my 97 (or I'm not strong enough? :o) Thats a different way for the HW95/98? Unique. Any help appreciated!

Well hello Laz!!! You've made some awesome AG choices bro!!! We have a similar line up! I can't help you with your question as Scott did the work on mine, but I can tell you this rifle with a PG2 kit is nothing short of amazing!! Powerful, solid, smooth and extremely accurate!! Not pellet or hold fussy at all!! As you know, great trigger! I have shot my tightest groups with mine.
Good luck and enjoy!!!

Use a spring compressor. A lot easier and much safer.

Agreed Jim! I was j/w because taking down the tx is a breeze without one.
And thanks Joe! You have an impressive line up! I got these 3 rifles within a month though, so I gotta calm down!

I share your anticipation. I admire you folk's fine choices.
