Title: TX 200 Dovetail Size
Post by: Roadworthy on November 15, 2013, 02:47:38 AM
This one should be easy, but I can't find the answer in the manual.  Is the Air Arms TX 200 a 3/8" dovetail or an 11mm?  I am aware that dimensionally they're almost identical.  I have read that they are cut at different angles even though the grooves are about the same distance apart.  Can anybody tell me what I'm dealing with?  Thanks for any assistance.

English guns are METRIC ... so logic would point to 11 mm  ;)

Thanks, Scott, I kind of suspected that was the case but a little confirmation never hurts.  I still find it strange that America uses the "English" system of measurement and the English have switched to metric.  It's even more strange when you realize that the metric has been legal for trade in this country since 1789 but never caught on.
