i have this hatsan 25, the gun is awesome, very powerful and accurate, but ive been having problem with installing the mount base, i bought a 3/8' 11mm dovetail rail base on ebay, after i tightened it up, the mount base keeps slip back toward the rear side of the gun a little bit after every shot, its not loose, the screws aren't moving, how do i fix this?

Hi, and welcome to the GTA!! There should be a hole at the center near the rear of the dovetail. There is supposed to be a pin on the weaver rail that drops into it. That is what keeps the whole thing from slipping back.
If you have the pin installed there may be enough recoil to elongate the hole.
There are two different dovetails out there. The spacing is almost identical, though one is metric and the other is in inches. The rub comes in with the different angles cut for the dovetail. I think one is like 45 degrees and the other is 60. If you don't have the correct angle you will get minimal contact.
I know, this didn't help your situation but maybe you got a couple more ideas of the problem.
