So I got a replacement Scope from PA and the Vortek Kit. WOW did some pellet testing at 30 yards and I was blown away. My Tx200 is up there with my PCP rigs with accuracy. Found that it likes RSW Supper Domes the best and the H&N FTT 4.51s. The Vortek kit has made it butter smooth. All I get is a thunk and the pellet hitting the target. It also likes the CPLs from the box alot. and like you all say pics or it does not exist so!

Awesome groups! Very nice ;D

PG2 TX200, don't get much better. The PG2 kits are really good right away, but get even better after a couple hundred shots. Glad your rig is working out for you.

Great news Tim!!! Groups are lookin tight!!
Super Domes?? Really?? Mine literally hated them!! When you get a chance try some JSB 7.87 or 8.4. Mine favors 4.52 head size.......I tried them all bro!!!
Enjoy and send lots down the tube!!! She'll just get smoother and better!!!
Mine has over 17000 thru her and performs beautifully!!!

PG2 kits are great, and do nothing but get better. Did you use the o-ring seal. I used the o-ring and krytox. It made my gun real consistant, and doesn't take as many shots to warm up.

;D I guess I'm going to have to order the PG2 kit for my TX200 since all I hear is praise for the outcome then I'll just have to wait for the spring to self destruct ;D ;D ;D ;)

Totally agree. I installed the <12fpe PG2 kit, using the included o-ring and just the sticky lube that came with the kit. The improvement was awesome. My tx200 was real twangy before. Now, it makes just a "thunk" and hits the 10 ring.
JSB Exacts and even Meisterkugeln wadcutters work the best in mine at 10 meters and at 25 yards+.

I'll tell ya Don you might be waiting a looooooong time!!! Scott installed his magical guides, a new OEM spring and some Motörhead magic, pat pend, and she has been superb, she lit a match!!!!, for over 17000 rounds!! Lost around 50 fps, but accurate as ever!!!

Does the tune kit improve accuracy on all TX's or is it mainly a fix for the ones that are unusually rough from the factory?
-
It improves accuracy in 2 ways. First is thru a smother shot cycle. Second is thru more consistent speeds.

ya it blew my mind too. Superdomes never shoot well in any thing I own. they are the pellets I use when i'm tuning a trigger or testing function. It was crazy windy that day I had gust up to 25mph. They pellets I tried were Air Arms 8.4 in both 4.51 and 4.52, FTT in 4.51 and 4.52, CPLs box May 2013 run. Polymags for Grims and the Superdomes.

I'm really starting to fall for this gun. Its quite the joy to shoot (with the PG2 kit). After I have shoot it now for a few weeks I have been able to get groups just as tight as I can shoot with my PCP rifles at my 30 yard back yard range. I need to get out to my longer range so I can give it a go past 50 yards out to 100 or so. I,m always looking to push my skills to the next level. Im thinking about using Barracuda match for the longer range shots. My gun out of the box struggled to produce great groups but was within 1" groups. I added the Vortek and more trigger time and now I can constantly shoot ragged sub dime siae groups at 30 yards. I can see a .22 Pro sport in the near distance to enter my stable.

Update: About 1000 pellets with the Vortek PG2 Kit and wow.. I hate to say it my tx200 out of the box was meh. I added the vortek kit and now its my favorite rifle. Just the Fit and finish and blueing of the steel that is better than my custom .300 Weatherby Mag. It shoots as good as my PCP rifles. It has the factor that its a air gun that I will be proud to hand down. Ive started to train my nephew in the shooting sports and I cannot wait until he can use my AATX200, and I hope to hand it down to him at some point. So far my rifle likes RSW superdomes and CPL box. ive tried all of the JSB and H@N offerings for pellets but it loves the low end pellets.
I would like to thank all of you that have gave me advice and support with my TX200 adventure. Its a true jay to shoot and I would recommend a AA product to any one.

;D Glad to here that you finally got all the kinks ironed out my springers are a pleasure to shoot but the TX is second only to my PRO Sport for accuracy and the TX is easier to cock gotta say AA makes an awesome product stay safe and shoot happy
