Title: Sling on 22xx rifle?

Has anybody tried this? Any pointers? I am going to make a holster for my 2300 pistol too so I can carry both and have a backup shot for woundings that I cann't get close enough to dispatch by hand.

thanks for starting this thread . i've been thinking about how to put a sling on my DBO carbine so i'm looking forward to the replies you get . :)

If you use one of those Stock adapters that let you use a AR-15/M-16 style Collapsible Stock you can get a Sling adapter for like 20 bucks that mounts on the buffer tube and a tactical style sling.  or this might work the main tube of the 2300 is 1" ot smoting close to that.
